Shuffleboard powder, sometimes called wax, salt, sand, or sawdust, is a mixture of dried silicone beads and ground corn (corn meal) that allows the puck to slide smoothly and quickly across the board.

The Yellow powder is a mixture of silicone beads and corn meal, creating a "medium" speed play surface. It provides a comfortable game for players who prefer control over speed and is used by both recreational and professional players. Remember, speed compromises accuracy.
